Description We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Latham, New York. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with expertise in managing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. The ideal candidate will also possess strong organizational skills to support various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Reconcile bank accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform debit and credit reconciliations to maintain precise financial records.
• Prepare and deliver financial reports to support organizational decision-making.
• Record membership dues and handle union fringe payments.
• Process checks and ensure timely payment to vendors.
• Generate and manage invoices while adhering to company procedures.
• Administer death benefit procedures and assist with related documentation.
• Coordinate correspondence and communications to maintain smooth operations.
• Monitor inventory supplies and manage scheduling to support office needs. Requirements
• Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other financial management software.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Expertise in bank reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive financial data with discretion.
• Effective communication skills for correspondence and reporting.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to manage complex financial tasks.
