Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team in Richmond NT, Kentucky. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for growth within a stable and low-turnover environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the accounting department and ensuring accurate data entry, production reporting, and collaboration with payroll and accounting professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and compile daily production reports, including collecting, recording, and correcting data to ensure accuracy.

• Perform detailed data entry for production reports, reviewing and correcting weekly discrepancies as necessary.

• Scan weekly production reports and maintain completed documentation for records.

• Assist the Plant Accounting Manager with annual budget preparation and physical inventory processes.

• Support the Accounting Department with various tasks, ensuring smooth operations and accurate reporting.

• Coordinate with payroll staff, accounting managers, and supervisors to address departmental needs.

• Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with company standards and procedures. Requirements • High school diploma required; college-level coursework in accounting or related fields preferred.

• At least one year of experience in an accounting or manufacturing environment; payroll and cost accounting experience is a plus.

• Strong proficiency in data entry, including numeric data, with attention to detail.

• Familiarity with accounting entries and practices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members across departments.
