Description We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Bilingual Teller to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for members, delivering exceptional customer service and efficiently managing financial transactions. This is a Contract-to-Permanent position within the non-profit sector, offering an opportunity to build meaningful relationships with members while contributing to their financial well-being.
Responsibilities:
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other member transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide personalized assistance to members by addressing account inquiries and offering tailored financial solutions.
• Promote the credit union’s products and services to enhance member engagement and satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with credit union policies and procedures while maintaining accurate transaction records.
• Balance the cash drawer daily and promptly resolve any discrepancies.
• Deliver exceptional service to members, fostering a welcoming and positive environment.
• Travel to other branches as needed to provide support and maintain consistent service quality. Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial institution or customer service role.
• Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal team members and external customers.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in answering inbound and outbound calls with professionalism.
• Skilled in data entry and email correspondence.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word for record-keeping and reporting.
• Ability to schedule appointments and manage order entry processes effectively.
• Bilingual proficiency to effectively communicate with a diverse member base.
