Description We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in New Orleans, Louisiana. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial transactions, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage accounts receivable balances to ensure timely collections.

• Process and reconcile cash applications with precision and efficiency.

• Communicate with commercial clients to address billing inquiries and resolve payment issues.

• Prepare and issue invoices while maintaining accurate and organized records.

• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline collections and billing processes.

• Generate reports on account statuses and aging receivables for management review.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

• Identify and escalate overdue accounts for further action.

• Provide exceptional customer service to maintain positive client relationships. Requirements

• Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, or collections roles.

• Experience in the construction, engineering or a project based industry

• Strong understanding of cash application and commercial collections processes.

• Proficiency in financial software and tools for managing receivables.

• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.

• Strong analytical skills for resolving discrepancies and managing account balances.

• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
