Description

Nick Corieri from the Robert Half Syracuse office is working with a well-established law firm that is seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to support attorneys with estate administration, managing both taxable and non-taxable estates. This role involves direct client interaction, document preparation, and estate/trust accounting. In addition to their many other company benefits, this position offers the flexibility of a hybrid-remote work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Draft, edit, and review probate and estate administration documents

+ Assist clients with retitling assets and organizing financial records

+ Prepare estate tax and fiduciary income tax returns

+ Assemble and review estate and trust accountings

+ Support attorneys in estate settlements and audits

+ Communicate with clients via phone, email, video, and in-person meetings

Requirements

+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in estate administration, including work with both taxable and non-taxable estates

+ Hands-on experience preparing estate and trust accountings

+ Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of professionalism

+ Exceptional attention to detail, proofreading, and analytical skills to ensure accuracy in legal documentation

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and comfort using technology to support legal workflows
