Element is searching for a self-motivated, mechanically inclined person to add to the Machine shop. This role will be responsible for operating various Machine Shop equipment in the production process.

4:30pm-1am,2nd shift - $1 shift diff added to salary

Salary: $20-$26/hr

Responsibilities

+ **Willing to train** the right candidate

+ **Set-up** , **Operate** and **Monitor** CNC and conventional machinery to ensure that production is completed in a timely manner, including machining a variety of samples to close tolerances

+ **Ability** to read and interpret documents such as drawings, operating instructions, safety rules, and procedure manuals

+ **Select** , **Align** , and **Secure** holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials on machines

+ Ability to use of machine tools and inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers

Skills / Qualifications

This is a fast-paced environment, and we need someone who is proactive, self-motivated and a team player. The person for this role will be a specialist in their field, respected by all who they work with, keen to learn and enthusiastic in the face of challenge. You will:

+ HS diploma or GED required

+ Experience using basic hand tools

+ Previous shop experience a plus

+ Technical/vocational training in related field a plus

+ WILLING TO TRAIN THE RIGHT CANDIDATE
