    InGenesis is currently sourcing for a Facility Healthcare Program Manager (FHPM) to work with our potential client. In this role, you will support the Assistant Health Services Administrator (AHSA) in managing, assessing, planning, developing, and evaluating clinical programs that align with IHSC policy. The FHPM serves as the subject matter expert on the implementation and monitoring of program requirements at the local level. This position is dependent on contract award. Key Responsibilities: Administration: * Collaborate with the Health Services Administrator (HSA) as the subject matter expert in managing, developing, implementing, and monitoring IHSC programs, including accreditation readiness, risk management (RM), and quality improvement (QI). * Participate in IHSC national risk management and quality improvement initiatives, including attending regional/national meetings. * Monitor, review, coordinate, and ensure timely reporting of accreditation readiness, risk management, and quality improvement activities. Conduct data/trend analysis and implement improvement strategies. * Maintain all files and information concerning programs of responsibility in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. * Develop and maintain local operating procedures for accreditation readiness, risk management, quality improvement, infection control, occupational health, environmental health, safety and security, and emergency preparedness. * Provide policy, records, or other documentation as required by investigators. * Conduct fit testing for federal staff and ensure annual fit testing requirements are met. * Perform duties related to infection control, occupational health, environmental health, safety and security, and emergency preparedness as needed. * Serve as acting HSA or AHSA when required. Accreditation: * Monitor and review performance indicators for compliance with national IHSC policies and standards. * Collaborate with HSA and AHSA in preparing the health unit for accreditation/re-accreditation audits. * Ensure compliance standards are disseminated to staff in a timely manner. * Develop recommendations for improvements and success action plans (SAPs) if deficiencies are identified during audits. * Participate in the Quality Review Process (QRP) and perform self-assessments and pre-audit reviews. Risk Management: * Provide leadership and oversight of the local risk management program. * Assist HSA and AHSA with investigating incident reports and adverse events. * Conduct data/trend analysis, develop action plans, and implement improvement strategies. * Prepare facility responses to correct identified process issues and report findings through established communication channels. Quality Improvement: * Provide leadership and oversight of the local QI program. * Chair local QI committee meetings, conduct data/trend analysis, and implement improvement strategies. * Identify, conduct, analyze, and evaluate studies, and educate staff on process changes. * Report findings and recommendations through established communication channels. Training: * Provide leadership, oversight, and staff training on compliance with standards, accreditation, risk management, and quality improvement. * Assist with new FHPM orientation and coordinate training with FTO. * Serve as CPR Instructor and conduct BLS certification for federal staff. Qualifications: * Minimum of a master's degree in a qualifying program for USPHS Commissioned Corps officers. * Minimum of five years of relevant experience. * Clinical license maintenance as required. * Strong project management, quality management, and performance improvement skills. * Ability to interact and collaborate with all levels of personnel and management. * Proficiency with electronic health records and Microsoft Word and Excel. * Effective written and verbal communication skills. * Current CPR/BLS certification. Physical Demands: * This position is considered hazardous duty in a detention setting. * Required to walk unaided at a normal pace for up to 5 minutes and maintain balance. * Required to jog/fast walk up to ¼ mile. * Requires physical exertion such as lifting objects greater than 30 pounds. * Required to perform CPR/emergency care standing or kneeling. * Must have the ability to assist sick, injured, or aging detainees or staff exiting the building (may require lifting, dragging, wheeling, or carrying someone who weighs significantly more than self). * Must be able to see, hear and smell with aids if necessary. * Must be able to lift, push, or carry 30 pounds. * Must perform the duties of my job in a stressful and often austere environment without physical limitations.
