    Financial Analyst (Part-Time)

     

    Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community has an excellent opportunity for a Part-Time seasoned Financial Analyst to join our team! This role reports directly to the Controller and is a critical part of the day-to-day operations of our Financial Services department.

    Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

    + Takes the lead on the annual budget process

    + Analyze monthly budget versus actual variances

    + Create financial reports for presentations and communicating financial results to department managers

    + Creates meaningful dashboards specific to each department manager

    + Prepare and monitor monthly statistics, metrics, and benchmarks

    + Serves as back-up to the Controller for month-end processing

    + Plays a key role in the preparation of reports for Audits, Cost Reporting, 990, Disclosure statements and all other reporting, as assigned

    + Initiates and carries out special projects of varying natures and complexities with limited supervision

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

    + Minimum of 5 years hands-on accounting experience

    + Project-oriented, with strengths in organizing tasks and follow-through on deliverables

    + Keen analytic, organization, and problem-solving skills

    + Extensive knowledge and understanding of automated accounting systems and report writing software

    + Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, with a focus on Excel

    + Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, residents, and visitors

    + Ability to work independently, prioritize, and organize tasks

    + Experience with not-for-profit accounting and/or health care a plus, but not required
