Your Role at KIK
As a Maintenance Supervisor on **2** **nd** **Shift (Monday - Friday with most Saturdays 2:30 PM - 1:00 am)** at KIK Consumer Products, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by leading a skilled maintenance team in a dynamic, high-performing manufacturing environment. What You’ll Be Doing
+ Direct and support the maintenance workforce, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
+ Oversee maintenance planning and scheduling in coordination with production, ensuring equipment availability meets production needs.
+ Implement and champion proactive, preventive, and predictive maintenance programs to drive continuous improvement.
+ Ensure maintenance staff are properly qualified, trained, and supported, while administering encouragement and discipline as needed.
+ Enforce safety, environmental, and regulatory standards throughout all maintenance activities.
+ Manage maintenance budgets, procurement of parts and supplies, and relationships with external vendors and contractors.
+ Monitor and utilize the CMMS to track maintenance activities and ensure compliance with quality standards.
+ Maintain a strong, visible presence on the plant floor, collaborating with production and plant leadership to facilitate operator-performed maintenance and major overhauls.
+ Requires occasional travel up to 10% for training purposes and to assist other plants as needed.
What You’ll Bring
+ High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
+ Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
+ At least 2 years of people leadership or supervisory experience
+ Hands-on experience with assembly line machinery; PLC programming preferred
+ Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills
+ Proficient in continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or 5S methodologies
+ Ability to work in non-climate-controlled environments and safely navigate stairs, ladders, and confined spaces
+ Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence a proactive maintenance culture
Physical Requirement:
+ Occasionally exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force (up to 1/3 of the time).
+ Frequently applying 10 to 25 pounds of force (from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time).
+ Constantly exerting greater than negligible force, up to 10 pounds (2/3 or more of the time) for moving objects.
+ Must have the ability to perform the following: Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reaching, Handling, Feeling, Seeing, Hearing
