Advertising/Posting Title Senior Events Coordinator
Posting Summary
Oversee the framework, strategy and implementation of select admissions office events. Plans, oversees and evaluates large recruitment events. Manages contracts with external vendors. Works collaboratively with constituents across campus such as Dining, Facilities, Davis Center, Colleges/Schools, faculty, athletics, and Student Affairs. Develops events to meet recruitment strategies. Manages event registration systems in Slate.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two to three years’ related event experience required. Effective oral and written communication skills required. Basic computing skills (word processing, spreadsheet, database, and familiarity with relational student databases) required.
Desirable Qualifications
Anticipated Pay Range $25/hour to $28.20/hour
Other Information
Special Conditions Bargaining unit position, A probationary period may be required, Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule with an option to split time between campus and elsewhere, in accordance with the university telecommuting policy, Background Check required for this position, Open to current UVM employees only
