As a **Lead FileNet Developer** you will make an impact as the primary point of contact for all legal domain-related queries and issues. You will be a valued member of the team and work collaboratively with management, team members and client. The ideal candidate will have expertise in **IBM Case Manager, Spring Boot, FileNet P8, APIs, and Java** . Experience in Life and Annuities Insurance is a plus. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects that impact our companys success and societal contributions.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 4 days a week in the client or Cognizant office in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Role & Responsibilities:

+ Lead the development and implementation of solutions using IBM Case Manager and FileNet P8 APIs to enhance business processes.

+ Oversee the integration of Spring Boot applications with existing systems to ensure seamless functionality.

+ Provide technical expertise in Java programming to develop robust and scalable applications.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements.

+ Ensure the quality and performance of applications through rigorous testing and debugging.

+ Develop and maintain documentation for system architecture and design specifications.

+ Mentor and guide junior developers to foster a collaborative and productive team environment.

+ Analyze and resolve complex technical issues to ensure system reliability and performance.

+ Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the team.

+ Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

+ Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

+ Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all development activities.

+ Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards and best practices. Qualifications

+ Possess strong expertise in IBM Case Manager and FileNet P8 APIs for effective solution development.

+ Demonstrate proficiency in Spring Boot and Java for building scalable applications.

+ Exhibit knowledge of IBM Content Navigator for enhanced user experience.

+ Have experience in Life and Annuities Insurance domain as a valuable asset.

+ Show ability to work in a hybrid model with effective time management skills.

+ Display excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

+ Maintain strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

The annual salary for this position is between $47,000 – $114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
