Experienced Caregivers Wanted Always Best Care of Greater Lexington is a provider of in home non-medical care to seniors in Lexington, KY and surrounding areas.  Care provided encompasses a range of services from simple companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and accompanying seniors on errands, all the way up to assistance with toileting, bathing, and dressing. We offer competitive pay, flexible scheduling, paid training, mileage reimbursement between clients, direct deposit, W2 employee status, referral and performance bonuses, and opportunities for advancement.  Successful candidates will meet the following criteria: * 18 years of age or older * Be able to speak, read, and write English fluently * Legally able to work in the US as proven through approved documents and the signing of an I-9 form * Have at least one year of experience of Caregiving for seniors or other vulnerable populations in either an in home or community or hospital setting OR a recent SRNA or CNA certification with successfully completed clinicals and certificate * The ability to complete and pass a written Caregiver competency test * Pass a drug test * Have a clean criminal background check * Have a clean Nurse/Nurse Aide Abuse Registry Check * Have or obtain a negative TB skin test valid within the past year * Provide two verifiable professional references * The ability to stand for up to three hours at a time and lift and carry 25 lbs multiple times per shift * Have and maintain a valid working cell phone * Be reliable and responsive, answering phone calls, texts, and emails and showing up to all interviews and orientations, demonstrating the ability to be responsible for the care of a senior * Have a valid drivers license and reliable vehicle Apply today and join a national leader in Senior Care!
