    (Job Description)

    Printing & labelling company located in Mukilteo, WA is currently hiring for a Customer Quality Coordinator to help drive excellence in product quality and customer satisfaction. This role plays a key part in managing quality metrics, resolving product complaints, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across departments.     (Position Details)

    Title – Print Quality Coordinator

    Pay – $50k/yr. - $75k/yr. (depending on relevant qualifications, degree, job titles...etc.)

     

    Schedule – Standard Monday - Friday Morning Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM PST; flexible to start later if needed)

     

    Location – Mukilteo, WA (100% Onsite)

    (Responsibilities)

    + Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) to uphold industry and regulatory standards.

    + Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to enhance consistency in product quality.

    + Provide customer and sales support regarding product quality issues, ensuring timely and effective complaint resolution.

    + Maintain and communicate quality metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to key stakeholders, promoting transparency and accountability.

    + Analyze quality performance data and metrics every month to identify trends, generate insights, and support data-driven decision-making.

    + Document and manage records of non-conformances, coordinating the return of materials when necessary.

    + Investigate product defects and non-conformances through root cause analysis, collaborating with other departments to implement corrective and preventive actions.

    + Monitor and resolve customer feedback and complaints promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction.

    + Serve as a quality resource for production staff, offering guidance on quality-related issues and troubleshooting problems as they arise.

    + Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to address recurring quality issues, driving improvements across departments.

    + Train production staff on quality control processes and standards, fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement.

    (Qualifications)

    + Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or related field.

    + Degree in quality management, engineering, or a related discipline (highly considered).

    + Must have a keen eye for detail with an awareness of symmetry and registration of printed products.

    + Holding a Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), a certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or a Lean Six Sigma certification (highly considered).

    + Familiarity with interpreting purchase orders, government contracts, and blueprints.

    + Willingness to grow into a Quality Supervisor or Manager role.

    + Data management skills. Ability to keep meticulously accurate financial records and provide documentation for all costs of non-conformance incidents.

    + Ability to work with Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP software (Label Traxx; highly considered). Must be accurate and organized.

    + Excellent communication skills. Able to communicate professionally with customers, upper management, and plant staff at all levels. Must have excellent, professional writing skills for email communications and for SOP development. Ability to prepare and present updates daily, weekly, monthly (Town Hall), and annually.

    + Experience with Root Cause Analysis, CAPA development, and implementation. Any other Quality Assurance experience is a plus.
