VCA Flannery Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our one-of-a-kind 11-doctor General Practice/Emergency 24 hour Hospital.

     

    Veterinary Technician students welcome! Part time and Full time hours available. Nights & Weekend coverage needed.

    The Veterinary Assistant must be:

    Friendly, outgoing, “people oriented", with excellent communications skills.

     

    Must be capable of being cross-trained for front office receptionist duties that will be expected in the job.

     

    Telephone and computer skills are necessary.

    Duties include:

    Demonstrate excellent relations with clients/pets in waiting and/or exam rooms

     

    Lift up to 40 pounds of weight

     

    Carry food and patients

     

    Physically restrain animals in a safe manner

     

    Accurate data entry

    The salary range for this position is $18 - $23 / hour
