As a Software Quality Engineering II here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous verification and validation processes. You will be involved in the development and execution of test plans, as well as analyzing results to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Salem, OR location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact product quality and customer satisfaction by identifying issues early in the development process and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of performance and safety.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, PyTest, or JUnit.
+ Execute manual and automated tests for web, embedded, or cloud-based applications.
+ Collaborate with developers and product managers to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
+ Participate in code reviews, bug triage, and Agile ceremonies.
+ Analyze test results, file detailed bug reports, and track issues to resolution using tools like JIRA.
+ Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and ensure test coverage in every release.

US PERSON REQUIREMENT
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
YOU MUST HAVE
+ 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing.
+ Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, PyTest, JUnit).
+ Familiarity with programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
+ Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
WE VALUE
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.Advanced degree in Engineering or related field.
+ Experience in the aerospace or industrial sectors.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
+ Familiarity with regulatory standards and quality assurance processes.
