    Minimum qualifications:

    In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

     

    One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

     

    Android Studio is the official Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for developing apps for Android. It includes all the tools from designing UI, coding with Java, Kotlin, and C++ programming languages, testing, profiling apps for all Android devices. A key product focus in Android Studio across every tool for app developers is enabling a full suite of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) tools. You will have a horizontal view across Android Studio to develop solutions to help developers extend their existing apps and create new apps with AR and VR technologies.

Google's XR team is at the forefront of the next major leap – the convergence of AI and XR. This is more than just new devices – it's about reimagining how we interact with the world around us. We're building a future where lightweight XR devices pair with helpful AI to augment human intelligence, offering personalized, conversational, and contextually aware experiences.

     

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.     + Understand new markets, competition, and developer tool requirements for the AR and VR product space.

    + Build computing accessible through mobile devices.

    + Evaluate how to manage extended reality (XR) form factor from the Android developer tools perspective, pairing with the Android XR team.

    + Develop and execute a product idea, developer journeys, and product roadmap on tools in Android Studio to help developers adapt their Android apps to XR for headsets and glasses experiences.

    + Develop solutions to problems by collaborating as needed across regions, product areas, and functions.
