We are seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to join our team. With a strong focus on plumbing, heating, air-conditioning, ductwork, and sprinkler installations, our company serves both residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing HVAC projects, showcasing expertise in residential and commercial installations. The role demands overseeing all aspects of project execution, ensuring timely completion within budget, and upholding the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities
+ Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, and oversee the execution of HVAC projects from start to finish.
+ Lead and manage a team of HVAC technicians and subcontractors, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure high performance and adherence to safety standards.
+ Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly, and ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery.
+ Monitor project progress and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies, implementing corrective actions as needed.
+ Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions, preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management.
+ Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC project management.
+ Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems, including heating, air-conditioning, and ductwork.
+ Proven track record of successfully managing residential and commercial HVAC projects.
+ Excellent leadership and team management skills.
+ Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
+ Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Proficiency in project management software and tools.
+ Valid HVAC certification and relevant licenses.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with budgeting, scheduling, RFIs, submittals, take-offs, buyouts, and electrical systems.
+ Proficiency in software such as Excel, Word, Bluebeam, Procore, Timberline, and CAD.
+ OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain with company assistance).
+ Experience as a Project Manager for Mechanical/HVAC/Plumbing projects.
+ Ground-up or retrofit experience.
+ PMP Certification.
Work Environment
The position operates from 7 am to 4 pm with projects located in Hartford, Fairfield, and Litchfield Counties. The role involves attending jobsite meetings, materials purchasing, overseeing the scope of work, and ensuring project completion under budget and ahead of schedule. The work environment is dynamic, involving HVAC, plumbing, and piping installations in commercial buildings, along with experience in the electrical trade. The dress code is professional, and the environment promotes collaboration and growth.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
