Lab Technician Opening!!!

M-F 4pm-12midnight with a 15% shift differential

+ MUST BE WILLING TO TRAIN on 1st shift 9am-530pm M-F

Description

Looking for a candidate who has previous lab experience (academic lab experience is satisfactory) oran interest in laboratory work. Ideally, someone with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Medical Laboratory Sciences. College students could be considered as well. This doesn’t necessarily require someone with a degree, but lab experience would be beneficial.

Preferred candidates have experience with equipment such as spectrophotometers, chemistry analyzers ,benchtop pumps, and pH meters. Candidate needs to have some understanding of GDPs (GoodDocumentation Practices) and SOPs (StandardOperating Procedures) (preferred). A laboratory technician role is going to be working in a laboratory setting, preparing test solutions using water, plasma, or blood, and setting up laboratory experiments using a variety of machines, pumps, and analyzers.

+ This is a laboratory technician role that helps perform extractions, analyze samples, and properly document their work/results.

+ The work would require exposure to human and/or bovine plasma or blood products or byproducts and other possible biohazardous reagents/materials.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
