    Job Title: Entry-Level Land Survey TechnicianJob Description

     

    Join our team as an Entry-Level Land Survey Technician, where you will work under the guidance of a Crew Chief to assist in various survey projects. While prior survey experience is not required, it is preferred. You will operate advanced survey equipment such as the Trimble Total Stations Robotics to complete tasks at project sites.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate Trimble Total Stations Robotics to perform stakeout and location surveys.

    + Maintain survey equipment and ensure the survey truck is stocked with necessary supplies and tools.

    + Collect and submit data related to topographic, boundary, ALTA surveys, and Construction Stakeout.

    Essential Skills

    + Valid Driver's License.

    + Survey instrument operation experience preferred (e.g., Trimble Total Stations, Leica 3D Laser Scanner, and Trimble GPS robotics).

    + Familiarity with topographic, boundary, ALTA surveys, and construction stakeout preferred.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High School diploma or GED preferred.

    + College or technical courses related to surveying are a plus.

    + Excellent communication skills are very important.

    Work Environment

    Work will primarily be conducted in the field at various project sites across New Jersey, with minimal travel outside the state. You will have the opportunity to work independently or as part of a two-person crew. A company van will be provided for travel to and from projects.     Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
