Job Title: Fabricator

Job Description

As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for building conveyor systems utilized in the automotive industry. You will lay out jobs by following blueprints and drawings, perform MIG welding to assemble parts, and engage in fabrication tasks. Additional shop duties may also be required as part of your role.

Responsibilities

+ Build and assemble conveyor systems for the automotive industry.

+ Layout jobs according to blueprints and drawings.

+ Perform MIG welding to join parts.

+ Engage in fabrication tasks.

+ Participate in various shop duties as needed.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in MIG welding.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Fabrication skills.

+ Experience using a tape measure.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 2+ years of MIG welding experience preferred.

+ Welding certifications are a plus.

+ Experience with tack, fitting, and flux core welding.

+ Skills in plasma cutting and use of plasma torch or laser cutter.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Grange, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
