Job Title: Test Engineer
Job Description
As a Test Engineer, you will take charge of the Verification and Validation of products, collaborating closely with our engineering teams to support product development, sustaining, compliance, and certification testing. You will provide the necessary infrastructure, methods, and capabilities to ensure design integrity, manufacturing reliability, quality, and compliance. Your role is crucial in ensuring that all products, assemblies, parts, and components are thoroughly tested, stressed, filtered out of any errors, and configured correctly, thus preventing any defects from reaching the customer.
Responsibilities
+ Develop and execute verification and validation test methods, protocols, and reports for components, parts, and electro-mechanical systems.
+ Design test cases, methodology, processes, and acceptance criteria for validating design life cycle and quality performance metrics.
+ Develop a best-in-class test capability with automated test equipment (ATE), data logging, and analytics tools.
+ Execute functional testing of electro-mechanical assemblies, mechanical components, and electrical & control circuits.
+ Drive quality into product development (NPD) and engineering change (ECR) processes by providing Design for Test (DFT) requirements.
+ Develop test capabilities and methods for root cause analysis (RCA) on failures.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
+ 5+ years of experience in product design engineering with the last 5+ years in a lead Test Engineering role.
+ Knowledge and experience with Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT), Environmental, and Vibration testing methods.
+ Working knowledge on product and test certification requirements, agencies (UL, ELT, TUV, CSA) and outside laboratories.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with FDA Medical Device compliance requirements is a plus.
+ Knowledge of CAD and 3D modeling software platforms such as SolidWorks and CREO.

The work environment includes collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, quality, NPD, NPI, regulatory compliance, and suppliers. You will work with advanced technologies and automated test equipment (ATE) to ensure high standards of product testing and quality assurance.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenwood, Missouri.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
