    Job Title: Production Planner

    Job Description

    As a Production Planner, you will work closely with the Mill Department to produce cabinet cuts and create daily schedules for the production floor. Your role will involve reviewing 'No Demand' and Excess Inventory reports, setting up schedules within four hours of the shift, monitoring stock levels, forecasting material needs, and tracking production processes to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.

    Responsibilities

    + Collaborate with the Mill Department to produce cabinet cuts.

    + Create daily schedules for the production floor.

    + Review 'No Demand' and Excess Inventory reports.

    + Set up production schedules within four hours of the shift.

    + Monitor stock levels and forecast material needs.

    + Track production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Excel, including Macros and Formulas.

    + Ability to comprehend and follow instructions.

    + Skill in recognizing and identifying letter and number combinations.

    + Capacity to work in a fast-paced, often changing environment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in production, general labor, inspection, assembly, and forklift operation.

    + Knowledge of general production, packaging, and planner roles.

    + Understanding of production planning, production scheduling, supply chain, inventory management, and schedule planning.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is indoors, but the temperature may reflect outside weather conditions due to the manufacturing side of the building. Employees should be prepared to work in varying temperatures.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Riverside, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
