Company Hiring CNC Programmer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer who can independently set up, program, and operate CNC milling centers with a focus on 5-axis machining. This role requires collaboration with engineering, production, and R&D teams to optimize machining processes, and involves working with loading robots and automation systems to enhance productivity and support lights-out manufacturing.

Responsibilities

+ Configure tooling, fixtures, and workpieces for optimal accuracy and repeatability.

+ Troubleshoot CNC programming, machine operation issues, and robotic system malfunctions.

+ Read and interpret AutoCAD and SolidWorks drawings and models.

+ Optimize machining sequences and build control plans for complex geometries, precision components, and prototype parts.

+ Develop extensive expertise in the Heidenhain program, including programming, troubleshooting, and machine setup.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience with 5-axis CNC machining and programming.

+ Strong understanding of G-code, AutoCAD, CAM software, and SolidWorks.

+ Experience with robotic loading systems and automated machining centers.

+ Ability to troubleshoot CNC machine issues, robotic integrations, and process inefficiencies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Prior experience using Heidenhain, Fanuc, or Siemens CNC controls is a plus.

+ Experience in lights-out manufacturing and high-tech machining environments.

+ Ability to mentor, train, and support machinists and operators in implementing advanced processes.

+ Previous experience with multi-national manufacturing environments is a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment consists of a new manufacturing facility with 5+ years of expected growth. You will work from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. This position offers a dynamic and innovative setting with cutting-edge technologies.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Mahwah, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
