Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
As a Residential Advisor, you will perform the following duties:
+ Provides direct care for deaf, hearing-impaired, &/or visually impaired students in a residential environment.
+ Responsible for teaching basic self-help and self-care skills related to independent living and social development skills.
+ Supervise students in the dormitory during non-school hours
+ Support students with daily routines, personal growth, and conflict resolution
+ Ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive living environment
+ Report and respond to emergencies or concerns appropriately
+ Collaborate with school staff and parents as needed
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type:Probational, Promotional, Job appointment, or detail to special duty.
Career Progression:This position may be filled as a Residential Advisor 1, 2, or 3.
