    This associate-level design engineering position offers a variety of challenging opportunities in Electrical Engineering and will provide an excellent opportunity for career advancement.

     

    + Support electrical design engineering efforts on multi-disciplined project design teams tackling the most difficult aspects of nuclear material handling and nuclear waste cleanup and processing

    + Under supervision, responsible for the production of engineering calculations/analyses, design drawings, specifications, and engineering reports

    + Apply electrical engineering principles to the design and qualification of structures, systems, and components

    Qualifications

    Must be a U.S. Citizen; Dual citizenship with a country other than the U.S. does not qualify.

    Essential skills and experience:

    + Must be able to obtain US Government security clearance

    + BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program

    + 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in electrical engineering in a nuclear environment (DOE preferred, commercial, or Navy)

    + Self-motivated, have a strong willingness to learn, be able to work independently as well as with a multi-disciplined team, and have excellent organizational and communication skills

    Valued but not required skills and experience:

    + A P.E. license, preferably in the state of Tennessee

    + Familiarity with electrical analysis software such as SKM Power Tools
