    The successful job applicant will teach:

    EAR 105 - Earth Science in the College of Arts and Sciences.

     

    This is a 3-credit course taught in the fall semester 2025. Position begins August 18, 2025, and the first day of classes is August 25, 2025.

     

    This course meets in-person on the Syracuse University campus.

    Course Description:

    Processes that shape Earth and affect humans: Earth’s structure; plate tectonics; geologic time; and surficial processes. Students needing laboratory credit must register for EAR 104. Students may not receive credit for EAR 105 and 110.

     

    The hiring rate of pay for the successful candidate will be determined based on their per-credit-rate-history within the hiring department.

     

    All course offerings are subject to funding availability and enrollment.
