    Job Summary:

    Effectively operate a CNC tube laser. The Laser Operator fabricates parts to customer specifications determined by the customers print.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Operates the CNC tube laser.

    + Sets up work order on CNC tube laser.

    + Performs quality inspection and in process inspections.

    + Cleans and conducts weekly routine maintenance.

    + Packages and bundles product to customer specification.

    + Checks and verifies raw material.

    Position Requirements:

    + Good mechanical aptitude – manufacturing or fabrication experience is a plus.

    + Experience in the use of standard shop tools and inspection measuring tools, such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.

    + Basic math and computer skills.

    + Ability to read blueprints/ shop drawings is a plus.

    + Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout work schedule, 6-8 hours per day.

    + Ability to regularly maneuver up to 50 pounds.
