Waste Connections is seeking reliable, customer-focused individuals to join our team in Hazard, KY. We’re hiring for a Scale Clerk/ Dispatcher. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with people, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

Scale House Attendant:

+ Greet and direct customers and drivers at the transfer station

+ Record and track weights using computer systems

+ Calculate payments and ensure safe, compliant loads

+ Provide excellent customer service

Dispatcher:

+ Schedule and dispatch drivers and routes

+ Resolve customer issues (missed pickups, container problems, etc.)

+ Communicate with drivers and internal teams

+ Use Microsoft Office and proprietary systems

What We’re Looking For

+ Strong communication and multitasking skills

+ Customer service experience

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel

+ Dispatcher experience (preferred for Dispatcher role)

+ Flexible availability, including occasional weekends
