    Job Summary

    The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for the configuration, support, optimization, and integration of corporate business systems, such as ERP, CRM, and other systems that support internal teams. This position plays a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency by bridging business needs and technical capabilities, with strong expertise in both business analysis and system configuration.

    Who You Are

    + Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field (equivalent combination of education and experience can be used in lieu of degree)

    + 5+ years of configuration, administration, and maintenance of ERP and/or CRM systems (Deltek Vantagepoint strongly preferred)

    + Skilled in Excel, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI), and SQL strongly preferred

    + Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and serving as a liaison between business and technology

    + Understanding of the software development lifecycle, change management, and various project management methodologies (agile, waterfall, lean)

    + Experience with Quality Assurance testing – UAT, SIT, Regression testing

    + Strong communication skills and ability to work across departments

    Preferred:

    + Experience supporting multiple business systems such as CRM, ERP, HRIS, Purchasing, Project Management, Finance

    + Familiarity with data management, APIs, or integration platforms such as Workato

    + Previous experience in engineering, utilities, or professional services industries

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    + Serve as the functional lead of Deltek Vantagepoint ERP, including system configuration, access control and security, reporting, data integrity, and integration with other business systems, such as Hubspot CRM, HRIS, and other Deltek products

    + Gather business requirements and translate them into system enhancements or new solutions

    + Partner with Finance, HR, Operations, and Sales to streamline business processes and improve system usage

    + Manage the implementation lifecycle for new system implementations and changes to existing systems – Define, Design, Build, Test, and Deployment activities

    + Partner with third party vendors and internal technology teams to implement systems, integrations, and changes in support of business system needs

    + Maintain system documentation, training materials, user support requests, and change management logs

    + Monitor data quality and help enforce governance standards

    + System administration and user support

    + Stay current on product updates and industry best practices
