    Responsibilities

    _As a journeyman position this job has high level mechanical skills related to molding machines, auxiliary systems, and a manufacturing plant’s general infrastructure needs._

    Job Responsibilities

    • Commitment to safety is a #1 priority.

    • To diagnose problems and make the important repairs to get the machine back online as

     

    quickly as possible.

     

    • To communicate with affected team members on the production floor, in setup, and other

     

    maintenance personnel.

     

    • Must perform scheduled preventative maintenance to reduce down time.

    • Must provide your own tools.

    • Must use the appropriate tool in the safest way possible for the appropriate task.

    • Support the Maintenance Manager in meeting the team/plant goals, searching for cost

     

    savings opportunities, and managing down time.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED

    • Ability to lift 35 pounds or more repeatedly.

    • Prior experience with injection and blow mold machines in a maintenance capacity.

    • Basic math skills with an understanding of the decimal system.

    • Ability to work overtime and be on call to handle emergency situations.

    • Understanding of pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic functions
