    Responsibilities

    THIS POSITION HAS MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    POSITION SUMMARY

    The daily management duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

    KEY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Responsible for tracking and directing all parts manufactured as needed for work order.

    2. Responsible for overseeing production rate of skilled labor to monitor workflow, efficiency and quality.

    3. Responsible for issuing corrective action notifications for program areas failing to meet the quality/delivery expectations.

    4. Responsible for consistently evaluating/documenting personnel performance as needed.

    5. Responsible for managing housekeeping of entire production area.

    6. Responsible for supervising, overseeing and directing all mold techs, process leads and machine operators in their daily performance of job duties as it pertains to their productivity, quality of products manufactured, housekeeping and safety.

    7. Responsible for training assignments of new associates, evaluate progress during 90 day probationary period, recommends discharge or retention.

    8. Responsible for: conducting all counseling and written warnings, suspensions and discharges for warranted violations of plant rules.

    9. Responsible for managing all department employees, including but not limited to: approve or deny vacation requests, time card verification, monitor attendance and taken disciplinary action if necessary, accident investigation and assigning daily work assignments.

    10. Responsible for ensuring that all hours worked by associates are accurate in the attendance system and verify all time cards of all hourly associates working on their shift.

    11. Responsible for in the event of an injury, for preparing all accidents reports by thoroughly investigating the accident. Interview all witnesses and see that the injured employee receives medical treatment.

    MANAGERIAL/SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Interpret company policies to employees, enforces all safety regulations.

    2. Responsible for new employee instructions.

    3. Assign jobs and scheduled employees.

    4. Resolve issues with employees.

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

    1. High school education or GED equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    2. Supervisory experience.

    3. Exposure to manufacturing environment and loud noise; Hearing protection required at times.

    4. Equal amounts of time spent sitting, standing, bending, and lifting/moving.

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

    1. Read and write English; Understand spreadsheets.

    2. Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).
