    Job Description

    At Thermo Fisher Scientific, our Practical Process Improvement (PPI) Business System is designed to coach, facilitate, and grow the continuous improvement culture throughout the organization. In this role, you will work closely with business leadership and sites to establish and mature the PPI System across the organization. This position partners with key collaborators to establish multi-year plans via strategy deployment tools and leading kaizen activity to enable the teams to achieve their business goals and objectives.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead functional teams to streamline processes to improve the customer experience, enable profitable growth, and become more efficient.

    + Diplomatically cultivate and mature an action-biased culture of continuous improvement to improve critical business metrics across all functional teams and businesses

    + Drive strategy deployment and strategic initiatives across the group

    + Collaborate with the commercial organization to develop and drive a sustainable PPI culture

    Success Factors

    + Broad knowledge of multi-functional, multi-site, global organizational processes and financial business methods.

    + Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with and positively influence leadership and all levels of the organization

    + Able to drive critical thinking and continuous improvement in both non-operational and operational areas

    Education & Experience

    + Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business with evidence of operational, leadership, or professional experience

    + 8+ years of proven ability to lead process improvement initiatives

    + Experiences in identifying and delivering year-over-year results using metric-driven problem-solving

    + Demonstrated ability to train and mentor colleagues and senior leaders, with the ability to influence across the organization without direct authority

    Compensation and Benefits

     

    The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $118,100.00–$177,200.00.

     

    This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
