Hours: Monday through Friday Noon - 8:30 pm

The Supervisor, Pharmacy Technicians will oversee the department's daily operations, ensuring seamless workflow and efficiency. Serve as the primary liaison for pharmacy-related services and patient care coordination. Provide leadership and direct supervision to staff involved in delivering pharmacy operations within the hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

+ Manage purchasing and inventory control, ensuring cost-effective practices and regulatory compliance (DEA, JCAHO, FDA, USP, OSHA, etc.).

+ Supervise pharmacy operations, personnel, and service quality across centralized and decentralized areas.

+ Coordinate staffing and scheduling to maintain optimal care delivery and patient safety.

+ Support recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and employee development.

+ Oversee budget preparation and execution,and drive continuous improvement in policies and procedures.

+ Maintain effective communication within the department and hospital-wide, staying current with industry developments.

+ Completion of high school diploma or equivalent required.

+ 5 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician, 2 of which should be in a leadership capacity.

+ Analytical/problem solving ability necessary to participate in the development of department procedures and goals.

+ Participate in the analyses of operational problem and proposals and direct inventory control.

+ Interpersonal skills necessary to interact with all levels of hospital personnel, communicate with vendors, and cooperate with the nursing and medical staffs.

+ Supervisory skills necessary to plan, organize, coordinate, and direct the activities of both professional and non-professional employees.

+ Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner to manage multiple projects. **Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:**

+ Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)

+ Act 31 /33 / 34 / 73 renewal
