Teacher Assistant, Child Care

As a Classroom Teacher Assistant in the WKUCCC Head Start, Early Head Start, Child Care program, they will have the opportunity to work with children birth to age five years old. The Classroom Teacher Assistant will be responsible for the Active Supervision of the children and ensuring their safety ensuring all child care and Head Start regulations are maintained. Classroom Teacher Assistants will be responsible for ensuring staff:child ratio is maintained, appropriate breaks or absences are covered and implementing the afternoon portion of the day, including but not limited to, learning activities, meals/snacks, toileting/diapering, and record-keeping systems. Continuation is dependent upon funding/need.
Job Requirements:
+ High School Diploma/GED
+ Ability to lift 40 pounds or more

Hourly Range: $10.26-$12.00
