    Join Bay Area Hospital as a full-time and experienced Pulmonary trained Intensivist serving the community of Coos Bay, Oregon and beyond. This is an opportunity to lead a team of ICU caregivers while providing patients of all ages with high quality care while seeing a variety of cases including, lumbar punctures, paracentesis, thoracentesis, EBUS, transbronchial biopsies, endotracheal intubation, central venous and arterial catheter placement, swan ganz, conscious and deep sedation and much more. Be part of an exceptional and collegial team of healthcare professionals serving patients all across Oregon’s southern coast. Position Details:

     

    * Full-time role with large amount of autonomy

    * Focus on pulmonary critical care as an intensivist

    * This 12-bed Intensive Care unit accepts transfers from all over southern Oregon and northern California

    * Team is supported by a remote intensivist team from OHSU in addition to in-house hospitalists and specialists

    * The ICU sees high-acuity Cardiac Cath Lab patients, as well as primary dialysis and sepsis

    * Located in one of the most beautiful regions of the Oregon coast Compensation & Benefits:

    * Full benefits including health, vision, dental, retirement, PTO and more

    * Up to $30,000 sign-on bonus is available

    * Up to $20,000 sign-on bonus is available Qualifications & Requirements:

    * Must be board-certified/board-eligible in Internal Medicine, Pulmonology and Critical Care

    * 2 to 5 years’ experience post residency is required

    * Must have completed a residency program in Internal Medicine, Pulmonology and or Critical Care

    * J1 visa candidates are welcome to apply

    Bay Area Hospital offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients across Oregon’s southern coast. The hospital’s services include medical, surgical, pediatric, critical care, home health, outpatient and acute inpatient psychiatric, oncology, obstetrics and more. The hospital features a Level III Trauma Center and has an accredited Cardiovascular Imaging Center, Cancer Center, Sleep Study Center, Radiology and Mammography Imaging program and Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery program.
