Linux System Administrator

As a Linux Administrator on our team, you'll have the chance to shape customer training and mission readiness by leading the development of the Marine Corps' live, virtual, and constructive training environment. You Have:

+ 5+ years of experience administering Linux operating systems such as Rocky, RHEL, Ubuntu, or CentOS

+ Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, and shell scripts

+ Experience provisioning, configuring, patching, securing, hardening, and managing systems

+ Experience with networks and networking concepts

+ Experience running and remediating results from vulnerability scans, scheduling and maintaining backup jobs, reviewing audit logs, leveraging automation and monitoring tools, and troubleshooting problems

+ Ability to work in a team setting

+ Secret clearance

+ HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

+ Experience with Windows operating systems

+ Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

+ Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or IT

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
