    Position Overview:

    Dayton-Granger, Inc. is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Technician to support daily operations across our Stockroom and Shipping/Receiving departments. This is a hands-on, dual-role position combining computer-based inventory management with physical material handling, packing, and fulfillment.

     

    The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, enjoys variety in their day, and is comfortable working in both a warehouse and office setting. You'll float between teams based on daily operational needs and play a vital role in keeping our shipping and inventory processes running smoothly.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Accurately enter inventory and receiving data into the ERP system

    + Confirm incoming shipments and print necessary documents (labels, packing slips, etc.)

    + Assist in checking and receiving incoming parts and materials

    + Deliver items to proper locations and help organize the stockroom

    + Perform inventory transactions such as issuing, returning, or fulfilling backorders

    + Conduct cycle counts and support inventory accuracy and reconciliation

    + Assemble kits for production and ensure lot number traceability

    + Support packing, labeling, and shipping customer orders

    + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

    + Float between departments and support daily operational needs as directed

    + Follow all DG safety procedures and policies per the Facility Engineer/Safety Director

    + Perform additional tasks as assigned by management

    Required Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent required

    + 1–2 years of experience in inventory, stockroom, or warehouse work preferred

    + Basic computer and data entry skills (ERP experience is a plus)

    + Able to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on feet throughout the day

    + Comfortable working in both office and physical warehouse environments

    + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

    + Clear verbal and written communication skills in English

    + Positive, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset
