A Typical Day
The Tech Lead of Customer Digital Experience is a key leadership role responsible for guiding the technical direction of a development team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software, and fostering a collaborative and productive environment. The Tech Lead combines technical expertise with leadership skills to drive projects from conception to production, while aligning with the overall product architecture and organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
+ Define how user stories will be technically implemented, ensuring alignment with best practices and architectural standards.
+ Understand system/product architecture and work with Senior Tech Leads and architects to ensure alignment with overall product architecture and strategy.
+ Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members (engineers and testers), fostering their technical growth and capabilities.
+ Guide the team on the appropriate path for technical breakdown of complex tasks and system integration.
+ Drive the adoption of sound software development principles and best practices within the team.
+ Accountable for ensuring the product stays in a production and high-quality state.
+ Ensure the scrum/agile ceremonies are effective in enabling and improving the team's collaboration, communication, and understanding of the work.
+ Promote a collaborative team environment and facilitate effective communication among team members, product owners, and other stakeholders.
+ Work with other tech leads to ensure integration technical considerations are addressed in a holistic approach.
+ Ensure the technical excellence of all aspects of the code is maintained, including code quality, design patterns, and adherence to standards.
+ Oversee the implementation of robust testing practices, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, as well as regression testing and automation/build scripts.
+ Drive continuous improvement in the software development process, including code reviews, refactoring, and optimization.
+ Collaborate with Product Owners to define project scope, technical requirements, and timelines.
+ Contribute to technical roadmaps and planning.
+ Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle.
+ Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of software solutions.
+ With the Product Owner, administer tools (e.g., Jira) and drive the team to ensure data is accurate for reporting and that everyone on the team understands progress and uses the data to guide self-improvement activity.
+ Promote the use of appropriate tools and technologies to enhance development efficiency and productivity.
What You’ll Bring
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
+ Proven experience as a full-stack Software Engineer with a strong technical background (7+ years).
+ Demonstrated experience in a technical leadership role (3+ years).
+ Solid understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile principles.
+ Experience with relevant technologies and frameworks. (Specify technologies relevant to the company, e.g., Java, Python, Cloud technologies, etc.)
+ Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
+ Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to mentor and guide team members.
+ Ability to drive technical excellence.
+ Experience with TypeScript.
+ Familiarity with Node.js for backend development.
+ C# / React Native / Mobile Development

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:
+ Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
+ Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role
+ Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role
Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.
Salary
$110,000 - $170,000
