The School of Law has an outstanding opportunity for a Clinical Law Program Coordinator to join their team.** **Your Role
You will play a crucial role in the Clinical Law Program, primarily focusing on responding to and assisting with requests from faculty, students, or the public submitted to the Clinics team. This role involves supporting the daily operations of the legal clinics. You will apply your program knowledge to support the efforts of faculty, staff attorneys, staff, and students within the program, as well as provide information about program services to the public.
Your Team
You will be working with the Clinical Law Program Staff Support team, reporting to the Clinical Law Program Manager, and working alongside one other Program Coordinator. As one of the Program Coordinators, you will build and maintain relationships with the clinical directors, staff attorneys, fellows, students, volunteers, and clients we serve.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** **Case/Client Support: 35%
+ Establish and maintain hard copy and electronic case records and client files, confidential information within physical file storage, and digital case management software (Clio), according to departmental record retention policies
+ Understand and maintain records and engage in data collection as assigned
+ Ensure the confidentiality of all documents
+ Proofread and edit copy to ensure accuracy of format, spelling, punctuation, and grammar **Program Support: 25%**
+ Prepare narrative and/or statistical reports regarding program operations
+ Complete and maintain compliance with data reporting requirements for program contracts and grants
+ Schedule appointments and meetings as required; may include room reservations, telephone conferences, and video recording sessions
+ Perform a variety of public relations functions including responding to inquiries from the public and advising on program policies and procedures and outside resources
+ Process and distribute incoming and outgoing legal mail; may order, receive, and maintain inventory of mailing supplies **Student Support: 15%**
+ Serve as primary contact with program participants, providing information and advice regarding program policies and activities such as document storage, mailing requirements, usage of Clinic spaces, etc.
+ Participate in the planning and hosting of annual CLP events (Swearing in Ceremony, Clinic Registration Fair, etc.)
+ Serve as contact for interested students to inquire about CLP scope of work, eligibility, and Public Service requirement **Course Support: 10%**
+ Supporting faculty in preparing and finalizing course resources for clinical courses and related trainings, such as finalizing syllabi, editing and maintaining Canvas course pages, and preparing course materials **Faculty Support: 10%**
+ Assist with complex scheduling for program activities including travel arrangements for meetings and conferences; prepare and distribute requests for travel and program-related reimbursement
+ Compile and distribute information relative to program activities, and confer with other campus departments and outside agencies **Other Duties as Assigned: 5%**

+ High school graduation or equivalent and two years of experience in a law office, social service provider, or higher education environment OR equivalent education/experience **DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Effective communication and service excellence skills
+ Clerical and database knowledge/skills using a variety of software and equipment
+ Ability to remain organized in a deadline-driven setting
+ Ability to learn and perform complex computer processing tasks
+ Experience with software commonly used at UW, including Canvas, the official learning management system of UW; Zoom; Microsoft Office Suite; Microsoft Teams; Workday; Adobe Acrobat; DocuSign; and Clio case management software
+ Records management experience
