    Pay Range: $31.52-$41.76*

    Responsibilities:

    Performs radiographic procedures tailored to the NCOG clinic's patient needs. Evaluates radiographs for technical quality, ensuring accuracy for NCOG physicians. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of procedures, adapting to the NCOG clinic environment. Provides patient care essential to radiographic procedures, focusing on the comfort of NCOG patients. Recognizes patient conditions requiring immediate action and initiates life support measures within the NCOG clinic. Performs all aspects of clerical duties essential to running an efficient NCOG radiology department. Maintains all equipment to obtain best possible results for NCOG patient diagnostics. Is in-serviced in the NCOG QA program and helps obtain information needed. Helps perform testing required by NYSDOH, adhering to NCOG standards. Follows NCOG clinic and department policies. Assists in image retrieval from on or off-site storage for NCOG patient records. Do as assigned by department manager.

    Requirements:

    + Graduate of a CAAHEP (formerly AMA) Accredited Medical Imaging Program, or equivalent.

    + American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification, or equivalent.

    + Competency in components of Medical Imaging practice as appropriate for the NCOG clinic.

    + Valid state credential, if applicable.

    + When applicable, a department technologist will be assigned as QA/QC tech, collecting data and results for NCOG.

    + When applicable, a department technologist will be assigned as clinical instructor for radiology students within the NCOG training environment.

    + When applicable, a trained CT technologist will perform all CT scans as assigned and associated duties with this specialty, serving NCOG patients.

    + When applicable, a trained Mammography Technologist will perform all Mammograms in the department as assigned and associated duties with this specialty, serving NCOG patients.

    + Must possess knowledge of age-specific needs and growth and development requirements for the infant through geriatric age population served at NCOG as is relevant to Radiologic procedures.

    + Current CPR Certification required.

    + CT Tech's are required to have licensed certified to inject per requirements on Section 89.40 of Part 89.

    *The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
