GENERAL SUMMARY:
Full Time Benefit Eligible
Shift: FT 40 hours per week, day shift
Under minimal direction, coordinates all aspects of the clinical education for students in an accredited Radiologic Technology program to include instruction, evaluation, documentation, etc. for the two years of clinical education.
+ Correlates clinical education with didactic education Evaluates students Coordinates clinical education and evaluates its effectiveness With Program Director, periodically reviews and revises clinical course materials, as needed Maintains current knowledge of the professional discipline and educational methodologies through continuing professional development Maintains current knowledge of program policies, procedures, and student progress Instructs students in the didactic setting Maintains student records of clinical progress Performs other duties as requested
+ Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates educational activities related to staff development, providing proper instruction to radiology students. Responsibilities: Collaborates with managers and staff to assess learning needs and competencies.| Develops, implements, and evaluates educational programs and utilizes methods, measurements and tools to evaluate learning goals.| Serves as a resource for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice and professional development.| Participates in the coordination and continuity of orientation programs.| Evaluates, assesses and documents competency for clinical rotations in the department.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
+ Bachelor's degree
+ Two years of clinical experience in radiography
+ One year experience as an instructor in a JRCERT- accredited program;
CERTIFICATION/LICENCES REQUIRED:
+ Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification and registration in radiography.
ADDITIONAL PREFERENCES:
+ Proficient in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising;
