Description:** **Overview

You will be the Manufacturing Planner for our production team\. Our team is responsible for planning and executing the production of complex systems, ensuring timely delivery to customers while minimizing costs\.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Manufacturing Planner, you will be responsible for performing Make, Buy, and Bill of Material \(BOM\) planning activities, maintaining production systems integrity, and optimizing material flow through the supply chain\. You will work closely with manufacturing, Operations Management, and Supply Chain stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of production plans\.

Your responsibilities will include:

\* Performing MRP transactions and maintaining production systems integrity

\* Coordinating with manufacturing and Operations Management to provide shop floor control and execute production plans

\* Analyzing and controlling production schedule and capacity requirements

\* Expediting and optimizing material flow through the supply chain

\* Coordinating with Supply Chain stakeholders to determine time\-phased plans for procured parts

\* Maintaining MRP parameters, including lead times and lot sizes, and coordinating with Engineering and Change Board Rep to make BOM changes

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education\.

• Experience with SAP or other MRP and ERP systems

• Strategic thinker with lean manufacturing focus

• Ability to obtain a security clearance; an interim Secret clearance is required to start\.

Desired Skills:

• Degree from an accredited college in the field

such as supply chain management, operations

management\.

• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels

of management, industry, peers\.

• Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing

Knowledge of Material Management and

Accounting System \(MMAS\)

knowledge, including: experience with material

requirements\.

• Demonstrate proficient knowledge of computer

systems, databases, and programs\.

• Very good organization and communication skills\.

•Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving,

and multitasking skills\.

**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Part\-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process\.

**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
