Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Regional Facilities Technician to support the ongoing maintenance and care of our credit union-s buildings and grounds. This position is responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment for our members and staff, while upholding the credit union-s mission, vision, and core values. The technician will work cooperatively with credit union employees, members, vendors, contractors, and the public to ensure all facilities-related needs are managed professionally and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
+ Perform routine maintenance to keep branches and administrative facilities operating safely and efficiently. Use basic knowledge in mechanical, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and HVAC systems to complete minor repairs and improvements.
+ Support upgrades, renovations, and modifications to new and existing branch locations. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers on various facility-related projects, including landscaping, janitorial services, roofing, flooring, lighting, painting, and parking lot maintenance.
+ Monitor building systems and grounds for performance issues. Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance problems, track unusual trends, and recommend solutions to enhance facility operations.
+ Respond to emergency situations involving property damage. Assess conditions and take necessary actions to minimize risk and protect credit union assets.
+ Maintain up-to-date records related to facilities contracts, vendor information, maintenance schedules, and compliance documentation.
Qualifications
+ Associate degree in a skilled trade (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, electrical, or masonry), or minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience in building maintenance and/or construction.
+ Ability to produce clear and professional documentation related to preventative maintenance, repair logs, and project proposals.
+ Understanding of construction estimating, including labor and material cost analysis.
+ Knowledge of budget management, purchasing processes, and cost-control practices.
+ Skilled in evaluating construction or alteration project feasibility and gathering, reviewing, and awarding bids or RFPs.
+ Experience diagnosing and repairing a wide range of equipment, with the ability to determine efficient and cost-effective solutions.
+ Proficient in the use of hand and power tools and construction materials related to building maintenance.
+ Working knowledge of health and safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
+ Experience with custodial and janitorial service requirements.
+ Valid driver-s license with a clean and acceptable driving record.

Schedule
+ Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Wage & Hour Details
+ Full-time, 40 hours per week.
+ Starting pay range: $27.00-$32.00 per hour, pay commensurate with experience
