As a **Project Engineer** for the Mk21A Program, your primary responsibilities will be:

\- Support Systems Engineering Integrated Product Team \(IPT\) leads by planning work scope, actively managing budget, schedule, and execution\.

\- Ensure the Control Account is completed

with acceptable Cost, Schedule, and Risk to

meet sales and revenue goals by communicating

and providing leadership with accurate and current status

\- Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility

\- Ensure Engineering is coordinated across Program and suppliers

\- Support ad hoc tasking by Systems Engineering Technical Leaders

Basic Qualifications:

• Knowledge of program lifecycle and how early

achievements may drive future costs

• Demonstrated ability to manage project cost,

schedule, and technical scope from initiation to

execution

• Familiarity with Engineering and Systems

Engineering development processes and phases

of development life cycle \(proposal, design,

qualification, requirements verification/validation, production and deployed system support\)

• Valid Secret Security Clearance; US Citizenship required

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems

Engineering

• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker;

selects and applies appropriate systems thinking

skills to solve very sophisticated problems and

implement constructive change

• Familiarity with JIRA and/or agile processes

• Positive demeanor, accountable, responsible,

and able to work in a team\-focused, dynamic

environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication

skills, strong social skills, adaptive problem

solving, with the ability to lead multi\-functional

teams, build strong relationships with team

members and build consensus among peers

• Control Account Manager \(CAM\), Project

Management Institute \(PMI\) and/or Project

Management Professional \(PMP\) certification

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full\-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\.

**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
