Description:
Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for Per Diem Food Service Aides to join our Dietary Team!
Schedule: rotating shifts, must be flexible to work every other weekend
- Per Diem - no set schedule, rotating schedule
Shift: days
+ The main duties of our Dietary Aides are to complete daily responsibilities that may include meal assembly, cold food preparation, utility and dish room functions Preparing meals, snacks and beverages following specific procedures
+ Serving meals, ensuring food safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all times
+ Staying current on the individual procedures and protocols for their facilities, including state-specified rules and regulations
+ Setting up and taking down dining areas and assisting with kitchen maintenance and general cleaning
+ Assisting with educational programs on nutrition
+ Talking to patients on the phone and receiving their meal order. **Qualifications**
+ HS diploma or equivalency (preferred)
+ Barista or food service experience
