    BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate Medical/Surgical - team atWinter Haven Hospital. A full-service, 204-bed hospital, we offer the high-tech services of an acute care hospital, but in a small, warm and friendly environment designed for personal attention and compassionate care.

     

    **Position Description:** LPN - Inpatient

    The LPN - Inpatient responsibilities include:

    • Working in collaboration and under direction of a Registered Nurse.

    • Responsibility for delivery of patient care as directed for assigned patients including medication administration, therapy and interventions.

    • Successfully complete the 30 hour Florida Board of Nursing IV course during the first two weeks of the LPN Internship.

    Certifications and Licensures:

    • BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required

    • LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license is required

    Education:

    • High School or Equivalent

    Experience:

    • 6 months acute care as a Patient Care Technician or 6 months acute care as an LPN
