**Additional Information:** This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Lotus Hotels. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.
The Hotel Engineer is responsible for maintaining the hotel’s facilities and equipment to ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for guests and team members. This role involves routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs across a variety of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building upkeep.
Perform daily inspections and preventive maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
Respond promptly to guest room and public area service requests and maintenance issues.
Maintain the exterior of the property, including parking areas, landscaping, signage, and lighting.
Ensure all equipment and systems are operating in accordance with brand and safety standards.
Monitor and maintain hotel life safety systems (fire alarms, extinguishers, sprinklers, etc.).
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and inspections.
Assist with renovation or special projects as directed.
Ensure tools and maintenance supplies are properly inventoried and maintained.
Work with outside contractors when needed and ensure work meets brand standards.
Comply with Marriott and local/state safety codes and regulations.
Provide support for minimal snow removal, and seasonal upkeep.

The hourly rate of pay for this position is $27.
