**Additional Information:** This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Janus Hotels and Resorts, Inc.. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.
Responsible for completing daily maintenance tasks and supporting the hotel’s preventative maintenance program. Works under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure the hotel is operating safely and efficiently, and that guest satisfaction is maintained through timely and professional maintenance service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
OPERATIONS
• Complete assigned maintenance work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist with electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs as needed.
• Perform basic HVAC inspections and report any issues to the Supervisor.
• Conduct guestroom maintenance and repair tasks, including light fixtures, toilets, sinks, and furniture.
• Assist with preventative maintenance routines throughout the hotel.
• Help maintain hotel grounds including minor landscaping, trash pickup, and snow/ice removal as needed.
• Participate in general upkeep of public areas including painting, patching, and minor cosmetic repairs.
• Perform pool/spa upkeep, including water testing and filter maintenance (if applicable).
• Follow hotel safety standards and immediately report any unsafe conditions.
• Assist with room turns, filter changes, and other recurring maintenance activities.
• Use basic hand tools and maintenance equipment safely and properly.

ASSOCIATE RELATIONS
• Work as a team player and maintain a professional and respectful demeanor with all associates.
• Attend required staff meetings and trainings.
• Follow direction from supervisors and complete tasks as assigned.
• Maintain a clean and organized maintenance workspace.

GUEST RELATIONS
• Provide prompt and courteous service to hotel guests when maintenance requests are made.
• Enter guest rooms with proper authorization and respect for guest privacy.
• Maintain professionalism and a service-oriented attitude at all times.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• Flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift, move, or carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand, walk, climb, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
• Wear proper uniform and maintain a clean appearance as per hotel standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or General Manager.
