    JOB SUMMARY

    This position is responsible for machine setup and operation of Roll Thread or Heading Machines with little to no supervision . Must be able to read blueprints, inspect parts using a variety of quality tools and troubleshoot as needed to run quality parts to meet customer demand. THIS IS A 2nd SHIFT POSITION.

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Set up and operate equipment as trained.

    + Follow all safety rules.

    + Perform inspection checks to monitor the quality of all parts.

    + Perform the duties required to record data for SPC, ISO/QS documentation.

    + Maintain clean and orderly work area

    + Move material by operating forklift or using non-motorized devices.

     

    Qualifications, Skills & Experience

     

    + • 3-5 years experience operating a variety of sized Roll Thread or Heading equipment.

    • HSD/GED or equivalent experience

    • Good Mechanical aptitude

    • Ability to perform basic math
