Job Description

Were looking for an exceptional software engineersomeone who writes rock-solid code and elevates the entire teams maturity. Youll build and maintain critical services using Java/Spring Boot, React, Angular, API best practices and Google Cloud Platform. At the same time, youll act as a coach and change agent, guiding the team toward world-class delivery processes and continuously raising both the floor and the ceiling of our engineering organization. Divas need not apply team first.

Responsibilities

Architect, develop and maintain microservices in Java (Spring Boot) Build and enhance front-end features using React and Angular Design and document robust, secure, versioned APIs Deploy and operate applications on Google Cloud Platform (GKE, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, etc.) Champion and implement CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and trunk-based development Identify process gaps and lead initiatives to improve software delivery lifecycle (SDLC) maturity Coach engineers on best practices: code reviews, pair programming, TDD, observability, fault-tolerance Facilitate change management: introduce new practices and ensure smooth adoption Influence cross-functional stakeholdersBusiness, Product, Opsto align on delivery goals Mentor peers: help them grow technical skills, soft skills, and take ownership of their work Track and report on engineering metrics; continuously refine key performance indicators

$75/hr to $85/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Skills and Requirements

Strong Java expertise, particularly with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud Hands-on experience with React and Angular frameworks Deep understanding of RESTful and gRPC API design and versioning Proven track record deploying and operating solutions on Google Cloud Platform Expertise in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/GKE) Solid grasp of CI/CD tools and pipelines (Tekton, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Spinnaker, etc.) Proficient in trunk-based development, feature toggles, and blue/green or canary releases Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform) Strong testing mindset: unit, integration, end-to-end, performance and automation Knowledge of monitoring/observability tools (Dynatrace, Grafana) null
